Our Mission is to:
love our neighbors to new life in Christ;
build strong, loving families and friendships;
raise up youth to be strong in faith and future leaders of the church;
equip and send out all members of our church to serve Christ with vision in the workplace, community, home, church, and the world;
send out well-trained ministers and teams to start new churches;
bring the healing touch of Christ to those in need.
The Falls Church Anglican (TFCA) seeks an experienced pastoral leader to serve as its Senior Associate Rector (SAR) of the congregation. The primary role of the Senior Associate Rector will be to design and implement a long-term pastoral care strategy for the church that enlists and deploys the congregation’s pastoral gifts while also providing seasoned pastoral wisdom and leadership in the church (Eph 4.11-13). Ideally, the Senior Associate Rector will have previously served as a rector or senior pastor and will have skills and experience in leading, teaching, serving, and administering in the church.
Together with the Rector, the Senior Associate Rector is responsible for the leadership, care, and oversight of the church’s clergy (both presbyters and deacons) and the pastoral care and support of the parish.
