About the Position

Marco Island Painting is looking to add a Sales Representative to the team. The Sales Representative is a critical part of our company and is responsible for identifying and developing new leads. The ideal candidate is proactive and tenacious in their drive to build relationships and professionally represent the company to ultimately increase sales. 

Compensation: $55,000-$85,000 expected first year income with unlimited growth potential. 

*100% commission-based pay structure with a weekly draw of up to $600 (up to $4,000 max)

*High-quality leads provided to you—no door-to-door sales

Benefits: Up to 3 weeks of paid training at $600 per week, company vehicle, ongoing support and training

Schedule/Hours: Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays based on client needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in Training: Learn and master our sales process.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Dedicate 8 hours per week to prospecting and generating new leads, compensated at $25/hour.
  • Client Consultations and Presentations: Conduct in-home and on- site consultations for residential and commercial painting projects,
    providing detailed quote presentations with the aim of securing on- the-spot client sign-ups.
  • Follow-Up and Contract Securing: Engage in follow-up with clients to secure contracts, collect deposits, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Sales Goals and Customer Service: Consistently meet sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Weekly Reporting and Audits: Attend weekly meetings to present sales reports, review job profitability, and participate in audits for any jobs that went over budget, in collaboration with the owner and the painting crew leader.
  • Pre-Job Coordination: Participate in pre-job meetings with customers and project teams to establish clear communication and ensure client satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in sales (painting or home improvement industry preferred, but not required)
  • A positive, self-driven attitude
  • Strong social and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and punctuality
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new environments and technologies
  • The ability to work independently while achieving team goals
  • Ability to pass a background check
