Business Development Manager

About Us:

Join our team! Fitzpatrick Painting and Construction, Oregon’s premier painting and construction contractor, is looking for a Business Development Manager to fill our interior season calendar with commercial repaint business as well as move the needle for exterior repaints. This job will require regular travel up and down the I-5 between Portland and Eugene with occasional travel to the coast or central Oregon

Job Type: Full-time  

Pay: Base + commission model. Earnings are not capped. Expected first year earnings between 80-150K.

Experience: 3 years sales or business development exp (preferred) *willing to train the right candidate

Work Location: Albany office with travel throughout the Willamette Valley using company vehicle

Job Duties:

Job Duties

  • Fill our interior season calendar with commercial repaint business as well as move the needle for exterior repaints – this is the entire position wrapped into one sentence
  • Identify and relentlessly pursue opportunities to increase leads and sales that would not have been possible without your efforts
  • Join networking groups and events throughout the region to develop key relationships with direct customers and industry partners
  • Complete extensive research to identify opportunities, potential prospecting verticals and best practices in cold outreach
  • Aid in expanding current operations into new markets as needed
  • Hand all opportunities to the sales team (estimators) to close – you are the opener, but the sales team will close each client
