About the Position:

We are seeking a highly creative and passionate Content Creator & Social Media Manager to lead the digital presence for a country music artist. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, has a deep understanding of social media trends, and is excited about storytelling through high-quality photography, videography, and graphic design.

You will be responsible for curating, creating, and managing engaging content across various platforms to enhance the artist’s brand, grow the fanbase, and drive engagement. Salary: $40,000-$50,000 annually

Location: Nashville, TN

Travel: Some travel required for events, tours, and content creation

Reports to: Artist & Management Team

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Visual Storytelling
  • Capture, edit, and produce high-quality photography and videography content that reflects the artist’s brand, style, and voice.
  • Design visually compelling graphics and promotional materials for social media, merchandise, and digital campaigns.
  • Maintain a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing social media feed that aligns with the artist’s image and country music branding.
  • Stay ahead of trends in photography, videography, and digital content to keep the artist’s brand fresh and engaging.
Social Media Management
  • Develop and execute a content calendar with a mix of promotional, personal, and interactive content.
  • Plan and schedule daily posts, reels, and stories across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), and Threads.
  • Monitor conversations and trends in the country music scene to create relevant, timely content.
  • Work closely with the artist and management team to align content with upcoming releases, tours, and brand partnerships.
Marketing & Growth Strategy
  • Use SEO and data analytics to optimize content performance and increase engagement and reach.
  • Run and analyze paid ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to boost engagement and ticket sales.
  • Develop strategies to grow followers, fan engagement, and brand awareness while staying authentic to the artist’s voice.
  • Collaborate with record labels, PR teams, and brand partners on promotional campaigns and content rollouts.
Live Event & Tour Content
  • Travel as needed to capture live concert footage, behind-the-scenes content, and meet-and-greet moments.
  • Edit and deliver same-day or next-day content for social media during tours, award shows, and special appearances.
  • Document in-studio recording sessions, songwriting processes, and daily life for fans to engage with the artist’s journey.
Trend Awareness & Innovation
  • Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, platform updates, and viral content strategies.
  • Implement innovative storytelling methods, such as interactive polls, behind-the-scenes clips, and exclusive fan experiences.
  • Leverage influencer collaborations and partnerships to expand reach and credibility.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or similar role in the entertainment or music industry.
  • Experience working with music artists, record labels, or entertainment brands preferred.
  • Outstanding photography and videography skills, with an eye for compelling visuals and storytelling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro for professional-level editing.
  • Experience in social media growth strategies, SEO optimization, and paid advertising campaigns.
  • Knowledge of YouTube and TikTok algorithms to create viral and engaging video content
  • Strong understanding of country music culture, audience preferences, and brand storytelling.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a creative team.
  • Willingness to travel for content creation at live shows, tours, and recording sessions
