Key Responsibilities:

1. Spiritual and Mission Leadership

  • Model a committed Christian faith, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and conduct consistent with the ministry’s Statement of Faith, Code of Christian Conduct, Statement of Principle, and other adopted policies.
  • Provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, prayer, encouragement, and pastoral sensitivity to staff and volunteers; lead regular team prayer and prayer before client sessions as appropriate.
  • Protect the ministry’s life-affirming identity, compassionate client approach, ethical standards, and alignment between programs and Christian mission.

2. Strategic Leadership and Board Partnership

  • Collaborate with the Board to develop measurable short- and long-term goals, annual priorities, and plans for sustainable ministry growth.
  • Translate board-approved strategy into operating plans, responsibilities, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Attend Board meetings; prepare and present monthly Executive Director reports covering operations, financial performance, fundraising, client and program activity, staffing, risks, and strategic progress.
  • Serve as the principal liaison to the Board, implement approved policies and decisions, and support policy review, governance, succession planning, and organizational continuity.
  • Identify operational challenges and growth opportunities, recommend solutions, and regularly evaluate ministry effectiveness and community needs.

3. Operations, Administration, and Financial Stewardship

  • Direct day-to-day operations, scheduling, facilities coordination, records, purchasing, and administrative workflows within the approved budget.
  • Work with the Treasurer and Board to develop the annual budget, monitor expenditures, review purchase requests, and maintain sound financial controls.
  • Ensure accurate, current financial and statistical records and monthly reporting to the Board; monitor performance against budget and operating objectives.
  • Maintain and periodically update the center’s policies and procedures manual, annual ministry calendar, and systems for accurate, secure recordkeeping.
  • Lead staff meetings, coordinate ministry events and operational projects, and address site or client-service concerns promptly.
  • Oversee donor-management and client-record systems, data quality, appropriate access controls, and reporting practices.

4. Fundraising, Donor Development, and Sustainability

  • Lead a comprehensive development strategy spanning annual giving, individual and major gifts, planned giving, church support, grants, direct mail, campaigns, special events, and other appropriate revenue sources.
  • Build and steward authentic relationships with donors, prospective supporters, pastors, churches, mission boards, and community partners.
  • Partner with the Office Manager and other personnel to plan and execute fundraising events, appeals, donor communications, and stewardship activities.
  • Maintain accurate donor records, track fundraising results and engagement, provide monthly and annual development reporting, and recommend adjustments when goals are not met.
  • Communicate the ministry’s impact, financial needs, and future vision persuasively through personal meetings, written appeals, presentations, and public speaking.

5. Staff, Volunteer, and Organizational Leadership

  • Supervise, coach, support, and evaluate paid staff and volunteers; conduct at least annual performance reviews as appropriate.

  • Address staffing needs, performance issues, training gaps, and leadership continuity in accordance with Board policies and applicable law.

6. Client Programs and Community Services

  • Oversee the quality, coordination, accessibility, and mission alignment of all client-facing programs, services, educational materials, and referrals.
  • Support existing programs such as parenting classes, men’s mentorship, post-abortion Bible study, sexual abuse Bible study, and other Board-approved services.
  • Ensure effective oversight of client sessions, client advocacy, service documentation, educational resources, and referral directories.
  • Evaluate client needs and program outcomes, seek appropriate feedback, and recommend improvements or expansion consistent with the ministry’s mission and capacity.
  • Promote a respectful, compassionate, safe, and confidential experience for each person served.

7. Medical Services and Clinical Coordination
