Settled Pastor

A Partner in Mission, Ministry, and Growth

For more than a century and a half, Elim Lutheran Church has been a place where faith takes root and community grows. Tucked in the heart of Randall, Iowa, Elim is more than a Sunday destination — it’s a family of believers who worship, serve, and grow together. People from several nearby towns and school districts call Elim home because they’ve found what every heart longs for: belonging, purpose, and hope in Christ.

In the last few years, we’ve walked through challenge and change — and God has met us in both. Through prayer, healing, and honest conversations, new life is taking shape. Attendance is growing, young families are returning, and energy is rising around worship and discipleship. We’re learning again what it means to be the Church — gathered, grateful, and sent.

Our worship is rooted in Lutheran tradition but alive with participation and joy. Choirs, organ and piano, and Scripture-centered preaching keep us anchored in the gospel, while technology like livestreaming and RightNow Media helps us stay connected and grow during the week. From Sunday School to adult Bible study, from coffee fellowship to community outreach, Elim is alive with small moments of grace that knit us together.

Elim Lutheran Church is Christ-centered, mission-minded church grounded in Scripture. We exist to glorify God and make disciples.
