About the Position:

Immediate Full-Time Opening

ALLBRiGHT Painting (serving SCV, SFV, LA, and OC) is an established, values-driven, and rapidly expanding commercial, industrial, floor coating, reconstruction, and residential painting company. We are seeking a high-level operator to serve as the President’s right hand and help scale the business from $13M to $25M in revenue over the next 24 months.

The Mission – Over the next two years, you will help: Scale ALLBRiGHT from $13M to $25M in revenue. Build systems that remove operational bottlenecks. Strengthen culture while growing team members and locations . Create operational clarity that reduces stress and mistakes.

This is not a maintenance role. This is a build role.

As Director of Operations & Growth, you will own day-to-day operations across the business while partnering closely with the President on strategy, priorities, and long-term growth.

You will have clear authority over systems, execution, and operational decision-making, with direct access to leadership and the trust to act.

This role is designed for someone who wants real influence, autonomy, and the opportunity to help build the next chapter of a respected brand.

Compensation: Salary range: $125K–$200K including performance bonuses

Benefits: 2 weeks PTO per year, 401K, paid parental leave, healthcare options. Expense account. Company issued computer. 

Schedule Commitment: Full-time, mostly (75-80%) in-office role, based in Valencia. This is a demanding season of growth requiring ownership and availability. Flexibility exists, but commitment and presence matter

Location: Working mostly from our office in Valencia with occasional team and client visit

This role is designed to grow in scope, influence, and compensation as ALLBRiGHT scales toward $25M and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations across Sales, HR, Finance, and Production
  • Direct operations for a team of 85+ people, growing to multiple locations
  • Act as the operational owner and primary decision-maker for daily business execution
  • Remove bottlenecks, streamline processes, and build redundancy across systems
  • Review and enforce safety strategies, training, documentation, and reporting
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to support scale

People, Culture & Accountability

  • Directly or indirectly manage 12–15 non-painting leadership and support roles
  • Build a culture of clarity, accountability, and collaboration
  • Coach leaders through goal-setting, performance reviews, and development plans
  • Lead effective sales, operations, and leadership meetings
  • Uphold ALLBRiGHT culture through standards, consistency, and example

Strategic Growth

  • Oversee hiring strategy to ensure staffing keeps pace with production and growth goals
  • Partner with leadership to refine and execute business strategy
  • Create and maintain clear organizational structure and accountability
  • Monitor KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards to guide decisions
  • Stay current on industry trends, systems, AI, automation, and best practices

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading operations, teams, and systems
  • 3+ years of business or personnel management experience (construction or home services preferred)
  • Comfortable owning outcomes, not just tasks
  • Technology-forward and willing to continuously learn
  • Able to pass background and drug screening

Formal education matters less than competence, judgment, and results.
