About the Position:

The role of the Project Manager is to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the construction process from start to finish. They ensure quality control throughout the entirety of the project in order to provide the best finished product to clients while managing timelines and budgets. The Project Manager is responsible for effectively managing vehicles, equipment, and materials to ensure these resources are always in good shape and available when needed. Additionally, it is up to the Project Manager to create and curate synergy with field and office team members in order to contribute to our positive work culture and progressive system developments.

Salary: $65,000-$85,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

Field Management – Start and manage all job sites to ensure efficiency, quality control, and optimal profits, while completing projects on time. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage job site timelines and provide updates on any delays or significant schedule changes
  • Coordinate with field staff and subcontractors to ensure daily expectations are clear and job sites are prepared for assigned tasks
  • Lead job site walkthroughs with subcontractors, vendors, field employees, and/or client
  • Attend frequent job site walkthroughs with supervisor (at least for the first year) to ensure all project management responsibilities are being met
  • Review budgets and negotiate with subcontractors to ensure job costs remain within budget
  • Use Buildertrend software to provide daily job site updates, upload photos, and review the job site schedule
  • Ensure all inspections required by the City of Marco Island are passed on the first attempt
  • Keep a clean and organized job site
  • Build relationships with building managers, subcontractors, vendors, neighbors and represent the company positively
  • Be resourceful in solving problems as they arise

Administrative – Full integration of Buildertrend (management software) is required in order to improve flow of information, team efficiency and synergy. 

Applications include, but are not limited to:

  • Foster positive synergy with staff to achieve various objectives on a regular basis
  • Oversee field employees’ daily tasks and manage and approve weekly timesheets
  • Manage receipts, daily logs, and cost codes for all jobs and expenses
  • Schedule and maintain documentation and conduct quarterly reviews with field team members
  • Attend weekly project meetings (held in the office) and participate in weekly invoice, estimate, and budget reviews/approvals
  • Attend biweekly management meetings to review system developments
  • Scout for new field staff, vendors, or subcontractors at all times

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of construction management experience
  • Experience with BuilderTrend (CRM/Project Management Software) preferred
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required
  • Positive work ethic, demonstrating integrity and the ability to thrive in a diverse work culture
  • Demonstrated history of effective problem solving
  • Demonstrated history of being detail oriented
  • Seamless integration with the existing team and systems
  • Ability to occasionally load heavy tools and/or materials
  • High levels of integrity and accountability in all aspects
  • Internal system development experience preferred
  • Trailer hauling experience preferred
  • Clean driving record
