The Director of YOUTH Ministries (Youth Pastor) is a paid position and has primary responsibility for the spiritual leadership, pastoral care, administrative oversight and organizational direction for youth at Faith United Church. The person in this position must demonstrate a great capacity to love youth by fostering discipleship relationships and administrating quality programs that guide youth to take the next faithful step in their relationship with Jesus. The person in this position will work collaboratively with staff, Session and ministry teams to develop and implement the mission for youth ministry while keeping in line with the overall vision of the church. This individual must be a passionate disciple of Jesus Christ and a team player who is able to equip and train volunteer ministry teams, shepherd youth, teach well, and organize and implement programs and events.
Hours: Full-Time
Salary: $44,000 – $50,000 annually
Location: Brandon, SD
Reports to: Pastor
Supervises: Volunteers
